Our Story
Born in the Brass City
SIFAAT WORLD grew out of a family workshop in Moradabad — the city the world knows as Peetal Nagri, the Brass City — where brass has been cast, chased and polished by hand for over four centuries.
What began as a bench of six craftsmen making compasses and ship fittings for local traders is today a full manufacturing house: our own foundry, machining floor, engraving studio and finishing lines, employing more than sixty master craftsmen and serving buyers in over forty countries.
Through every stage of growth, one rule has never changed: nothing leaves the workshop unless it would be at home in a museum cabinet.

Craftsmanship
Six Hands Touch Every Piece
From raw ingot to finished instrument, each product passes through a chain of specialist craftsmen — a process unchanged in spirit since the workshop’s founding.
01 — Casting & Forming
Brass is melted in our own foundry and sand-cast, spun or sheet-formed into blanks — the same alloys, batch after batch.
02 — Machining & Fitting
Threads, hinges, draws and bezels are cut and hand-fitted so lids snap, draws glide and dials sit true.
03 — Engraving & Chasing
Dials are etched, roses chased and lettering hand-engraved by artisans who apprenticed under their fathers.
04 — Finishing & Assembly
Four polishing stages, optional patinas and lacquers, then optical calibration and a final one-by-one inspection.
Quality Assurance
Inspected Three Times. Passed Once.
- Material gate — alloy composition and wall thickness verified at casting; no scrap-mix brass, ever.
- Dimensional gate — every machined component checked against pattern tolerances before assembly.
- Finishing gate — each finished piece inspected by hand: function, finish, engraving depth and packing.
